Joe + Monica = Married!

Today was a BEAUTIFUL day for a small wedding celebrating Joe & Monica’s wedding! It was nice and warm with a very cool breeze that kept everyone happy and having a good time. Monica found 10|13 through my assistant Lindsay, through their work and then i found out that Monica is the little sister of two kids i went to elementary school with! It’s a small world! (AFTER ALL!) We had a lot of fun taking photos around the barn on their property. I LOOOOOOVE BARNS! Check back later for more images but for now, enjoy this one!

Happiest of Birthdays!

I don’t book too many sessions once snow hits the ground in Michigan because weather and the roads make things pretty unpredictable but the upside to that is that I get to spend some time photographing my favorite subjects! I have 2 beautiful nieces (Mattison, 16 & Tilly, almost 3) and 1 handsome little nephew, Issa, who just turned ONE! We had a small get together to celebrate and I got a chance to photograph my favorite little boy, Issa. I went a little early to occupy him while mom and dad got ready. he didn’t have many smiles to give out but he’s still cute!

The party theme was Lego!

Bring it on 2012!!

If the world ends, we better make sure we’ve packed lots of photo goodness into 2012!

To catch you up: I spent Christmas/New Years in GERMANY! We visited my brother-in-law’s family for the holidays and spent the time in-between traveling to some beautiful Cities, all-in-all we hit Gotha, Erfurt, Weimar, Rothenberg, Heidenheim, Munich, Hohenschwangau, and Berlin. I took lots of photos and it was really nice to kind of get back into my roots as a landscape/documentary photographer. These days, I photograph people a lot but in college I preferred photojournalism, documentary and architecture/landscapes. Enjoy some of these photos from Germany, I will blog later tonight with some more personal photos from the trip.
